By Road

Langley Dam is on the B6305 Hexham to Alston road. Approaching from Carlisle or Newcastle on the A69, turn off onto the A686 Alston road and continue south west for approximately 3 miles until you reach a telephone box, turn left (signposted Allendale) and continue for 1/2 mile until you reach Langley crossroads. Turn right here and continue for about 100 yards until you see the carpark entrance on your right, just past the house and lodge.

By Bus

There is a regular bus service from Hexham to Allenheads that stops at Langley crossroads 100 yards from the lodge..
